VUC Donates to the City of Hatton

Sep 23, 2022

Valley United Co-op donated $2500 with matching grants from Land O’Lakes for a total of $5000 to the City of Hatton Park Board earlier this week. The city will be using the money towards new recreational baseball equipment and a batting cage for the Hatton Park. Their previous batting cage was damaged, and this donation will provide children with a safe place to practice and play.
The check was presented by Valley United’s Human Resource, Controller, Jenny Skold to Christopher Strand, a teacher and coach at Hatton High School.
Valley United Co-op takes pride in community involvement. The employees and board of directors feel a deep sense of responsibility to be good corporate citizens and neighbors in the towns where they operate because it’s the right thing to do and they live in these communities too.
