VUC Donates to HCV

Valley United Co-op employees, Jenny Skold (HR, Controller) and Abby Adams (Marketing Director) were invited to Central Valley Public School in Buxton, ND on Wednesday, October 6th, 2022. VUC donated funds along with AgCountry Farm Credit Services, Nodak Insurance Company, ADS, Degelman, and Central Valley Bean Cooperative to go towards t-shirts for all of the Central Valley and Hillsboro students.
The t-shirts have HCV Burro Family (as pictured) on the front with the sponsors on the back. The students were ecstatic to receive them from the HCV Booster Club.
Valley United Co-op takes pride in community involvement.

2024 Wheat Dilemma
The 2024 Spring Wheat harvest/crop has been challenging. Markets are near their lowest levels in 5 years. Interest rates are up substantially from a few years ago, and input costs are up. Now we are in the middle of a quality issue that is negatively impacting the value of our wheat crop.

Members of both Valley United Co-op & Thompson Farmers Elevator Company voted to merge on Wednesday, September 6th. Patrons of the Cooperative approved the merger after the boards of directors decided it would be beneficial and scheduled a vote.

The Boards of Thompson Farmers Co-op Elevator and Valley United Coop will be having informational meetings along with Special stockholder meeting(s) on September 6th. It will be 6:00 PM at the Thompson Community Center and at 8:00 PM at the KC Hall in Reynolds.
