Our Spotlight Employee this month is Zach Wright. Zach is a Sales Agronomist. He started working with Valley United in 2015 as a summer intern and accepted a full-time position in 2018. He is from Hillsboro, ND. Zach is the oldest of his siblings. He has a younger sister and brother. One of Zach’s biggest accomplishments is restoring a Camaro, in high school, with some help from his dad. He also just remodeled the house that he currently lives in. Zach enjoys ice fishing and working on old cars. His friends gave him the nickname, "Tim," which is his grandpa’s name. He acquired that name in college because his friends thought he was the grandpa of the group. In high school, Zach had a mowing business which was his first job. What does Zach love about Valley United Co-op? "I love the people I work with every day. I love making sure all the patrons have everything they need to be successful at farming." Valley United Co-op is glad to have Zach as a part of the team!

Valley United & Thompson Farmers Elevator Vote to Merge

Members of both Valley United Co-op & Thompson Farmers Elevator Company voted to merge on Wednesday, September 6th. Patrons of the Cooperative approved the merger after the boards of directors decided it would be beneficial and scheduled a vote.

VUC Donation to the Sand Hill Settlement Historical Society

Once again, Valley United Co-op teamed up with Land O’Lakes to provide a donation to the Sand Hill Settlement Historical Society Museum in Climax, MN. Location Manager, Dan Nelson presented the check to the committee on July, 20, 2023.
