Valley United Co-op Harvest Plan

Aug 13, 2020

There is no question COVID-19 has forced us into some unfamiliar practices. It seems like masks and socially distancing is becoming an everyday normalcy for us. At Valley United we had to ask ourselves how can we help? Below are the plans for dropping of crop at our elevators.

Pest Alert

Jun 24, 2020

There have been damaging levels of grasshoppers found in the Central Part of Norman County.  Grasshoppers usually start their lifecycle in noncropland and road ditches and move into cropland later in the season.  As with most insects, it is important to scout early and often for them.

Corona Virus & Valley United Co-op

Mar 18, 2020

Valley United Co-op continues to closely monitor the ongoing developments related to the coronavirus and COVID-19, with great interest. As the global pandemic continues to escalate, we are mitigating risk, and we are committed to ensuring the safety of ourselves and those around us. In response to recent COVID-19 cases in North Dakota, Valley United has started to ask some employees to work from home if possible. The Corona Virus is affecting us whether we believe it is serious or not, so Valley United has decided to side with caution. Anybody that can work from home will be asked to.  Working from home does not mean Valley United Employees are not available. Please reach out digitally if you need anything from our team. Fortunately, we live in a technologically advanced world and are able to communicate by phone, email, and video calls. Please use our website to get updates.  The business of farming doesn’t stop & we know that. Valley United employees have shown tremendous resilience as we serve our patrons, and as we adjust to this different way of conducting business. I am very confident in Valley United’s ability to continue to provide the best service we can possibly provide, and we wish you, your families and your communities all the best during this challenging time. We are asking customers to do business via telephone, text or email when possible. For customers who are delivering or picking up grain or other products, we ask you to limit your time and interaction in the offices. This is merely a precaution for the safety of yourself and our employees. Now is not the time to conduct business as usual. Therefore, we greatly encourage everyone to join us in social distancing, as we adjust to a new way of doing business. Thank you for your support & understanding in this “Trying” times.   Paul Coppin
